What are the prerequisites for the CCIE lab exam?
What is CCIE?
The establishment of Cisco certified Internet experts or CCIE certification is designed to assist the industry in distinguishing between the top levels of global networking experts and to assess expert-level infrastructure networks that will design skills around the world. These certifications are accepted around the world and are considered to be the most famous online authentication in the industry.
The CCIE and CCDE communities have established a reputation for leading the network industry in deepening technical networking knowledge and have been organized as the most technologically challenging network tasks. Expert level certification programs constantly revise and update their testing methods and tools to ensure unparalleled program value, relevance, and quality. First, you need to pass strictly written exams and then performance-based experimental exams; these expert-level certification programs will set standards for Internet connectivity expertise.
Prerequisites:
There are no formal advance requirements for CCIE lab certification. Although no other professional certification or training courses are required, candidates must first pass the written qualification exam, and then you need to pass the corresponding hands-on experiment exam. You need to learn more about the topics in the exam blueprint and strongly recommend that you have about three to five years of work experience before trying CCIE lab certification.
Procedures for obtaining CCIE certification:
To obtain CCIE certification, you must first pass a two-hour written qualification exam, which will cover network concepts and some device commands before you are qualified to schedule laboratory exams.
After completing the CCIE written exam, you will take an 8-hour experimental exam, which will test your ability to configure actual equipment and troubleshoot the network in a time-based test.
- CCIE lab format:
There will be three modules in the CCIE exam, the first is the troubleshooting module, which will take about 2 hours. If necessary, candidates can extend the troubleshooting module by borrowing from the configuration module for up to 30 minutes. Note that the total configuration module time will reduce the additional time spent by candidates in the troubleshooting module. Assuming that the candidate completes the troubleshooting module ahead of time, the time of the unused troubleshooting module will be added to the configuration module again, ensuring that the total laboratory inspection time is about 8 hours. The diagnostic module is fixed for 30 minutes.
- CCIE troubleshooting:
The CCIE lab exam will include two hours of troubleshooting. Candidates will be provided with a series of pre-configured network failure lists, and they will also be required to diagnose and resolve network failures or failures. As with the configuration section, you must start and run the network for candidates to gain credit. Candidates who clear the troubleshooting part in advance are eligible to move on to the next part, the diagnostic section, but keep in mind that once they have selected the diagnostic part, they will not return to the troubleshooting section
So, here, you need to clear all the details of the CCIE test, but let me tell you that you need theoretical knowledge, but practical knowledge is more valuable in laboratory exams. If you don't have the ability to set up your own laboratory, you should find a source of hands-on training. I suggest you get professional practical training and SPOTO dumps through the SPOTO Club. Through their expert guidance, you can obtain this certification in your first attempt.
